About
Gitta Rosenzweig was born in Biala Podlaska, Poland in 1938. When she was about four years old, her family arranged for her to go into hiding and she ended up in a Catholic orphanage. In 1946, a family friend who had survived the Holocaust learned of Gitta's whereabouts and claimed her.
